  • Organization/facility name, branch locations, and staff roles configured by account administrators.

Phone Numbers

  • Mobile phone numbers provided by users or entered by authorized staff for the purpose of sending appointment-related SMS/text message notifications.

Appointment Data

  • Appointment dates, times, types, status, and scheduling preferences.
  • Patient/client names, pickup and drop-off locations, and associated notes entered by authorized personnel.
  • Branch and location assignments.

Usage Data

  • Browser type, device information, and IP address.
  • Pages visited, features used, and login timestamps collected automatically when you interact with our platform.

3. SMS/Text Messages

MobiCare sends SMS/text messages solely for transactional, service-related purposes. By using our platform or providing a mobile phone number, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Purpose: SMS messages are sent exclusively for appointment confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, and other service-related notifications. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on appointment activity and the notifications configured by your healthcare provider or transport coordinator.
  • Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your request, and no further text messages will be sent to that number.
  • Help: For assistance with SMS messages, reply HELP to any message or contact us at info@mobicare.app.
  • Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Please consult your carrier's pricing plan for details.
  • Supported Carriers: Supported carriers include, but are not limited to, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint/US Cellular. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • No Sharing for Marketing: We do not share phone numbers or any personal data collected in connection with our SMS program with third parties for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS notifications will only be used to deliver the transactional messages described above.
  • Consent: By providing a phone number to MobiCare (either directly or through an authorized administrator), you consent to receive transactional SMS messages at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

4. Data Security

We implement robust technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
  • Encryption at Rest: Sensitive data fields, including two-factor authentication secrets, are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption.
  • Password Security: Passwords are securely hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plaintext.
  • Access Controls: Role-based access controls ensure that only authorized personnel can view or modify data within their designated branches and organizations.
  • Two-Factor Authentication: We support two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional account protection.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service providers to deliver our platform functionality:

These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes of providing services to MobiCare and are required to maintain appropriate security measures.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Upon account termination or deletion request:

  • You may request a data export within 30 days of account closure.
  • Personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 90 days of an account deletion request, unless retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements.
  • Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be used to identify individuals may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.
